Octave-forge is a very comprehensive set of extensions for octave to
mimic many of the Matlab toolbox functions. I had some trouble
installing it, because there's no octave-forge in fink's stable
directory, but the octave in fink unstable won't build for me. Corey
Halpin, fink maintainer of octave-forge, sent me the following
instructions. They worked.
To learn about octave-forge, see octave.sourceforge.net
