[OS X] gkrellm and /sw/etc/gtk-2.0/gdk-pixbuf.loaders

If you get something like:

(gkrellm:9208): GdkPixbuf-WARNING **: Can not open pixbuf loader
module file '/sw/etc/gtk-2.0/gdk-pixbuf.loaders': No such file or
directory

perhaps as a result of trying to run gkrellm (but also possibly other
programs--see http://forums.macosxhints.com/showthread.php?
t=38939&page=3), check to see whether gtk+2 is installed on your system:

fink list -i gtk+2

If this returns a line for gtk+2-shlibs, but not a line for gtk+2
itself, you probably need to install the gtk+2 package (apt-get
install gtk+2 or fink install gtk+2).

Thanks to Mike Hiscock for helping me figure this one out.
