Dear List:

At:  http://tazman.princeton.edu/osx/vis5d_libtool.html ->
http://tazman.princeton.edu/osx/vis5d_libtool.html
Andy J. <andyj at splash.princeton.edu> lists instructions for compiling
Vis5d on MacOS-X 10.3 (Jaguar)

I have worked through the procedure on MaxOS-X 10.4.2 (Tiger)

I do not see the 'libtool' error, but I see the following:
...
Making all in util
...
creating topoinfo
source='main.c' object='main.o' libtool=no \
depfile='.deps/main.Po' tmpdepfile='.deps/main.TPo' \
depmode=gcc3 /bin/sh ../depcomp \
cc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I../src   -I/usr/X11R6/include
-I./../src  -O3 -fomit-frame-pointer -mcpu=powerpc  -I/usr/X11R6/include
-c `test -f main.c || echo './'`main.c
fort77  -g -O2 -c -o doubt.o `test -f doubt.f || echo './'`doubt.f
doubt.f:
   doubt:
   roubt:
   scout:
   rout:
   ldest:
fort77  -g -O2 -c -o igmk3d.o `test -f igmk3d.f || echo './'`igmk3d.f
igmk3d.f:
   igmk3d:
   ignm3d:
   igqt3d:
   igop3d:
   igmp3d:
   iggt3d:
Error on line 172: Statement order error: declaration after DATA
   igpt3d:
   igcf3d:
/sw/bin/fort77: aborting compilation
make[2]: *** [igmk3d.o] Error 255
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make: *** [all] Error 2

Does anyone know a workaround for this one?

Thank you,
