[OS X] default paper size in latex

Howdy,

	On my OS X 10.4.6 system, postscript documents produced by latex/ 
dvips come up by default with A4 paper size.  There's probably a  
texmf.cnf setting somewhere in /sw/share that can change this, but I  
chose to explicitly tell dvips to format the documents for US letter  
paper.  To do this, just make sure that all instances of dvips are  
called with "-t letter".  For instance, in my .cshrc, I added: "alias  
dvips '/sw/bin/dvips -t letter' ".
