Howdy Pete,

	Yes, automount has been working for me just fine, even up through  
today's 10.4.7 update.  Please look through the stuff I've written  
(and the automount scripts, etc I provide) at  
tazman.princeton.edu...because I don't really know much more than  
that which is expressed by those files.
