[OS X] X11 issues with my Mac Pro Desktop Mac OS X10.4.9

Hi Folks:

   There are two major issues with my X11 application.

1) It only opens one window. Even if I use command + n, no new xwindow shows
up. If I log-in as another user to the same machine, there is no such
problem.

2) I have already set up my DISPLAY to 0:0. I cannot run "xclock" or
"xeyes".

The error message I got is following:

"_X11TransSocketINETConnect() can't get address for 0:6000: No address
associated with nodename
Error: Can't open display: 0:0"

I double checked with "env" in my X11 window. It shows that DISPLAY is 0:0.
