[OS X] portland group compilers for ferret?

Howdy Folks,

I'm facing a stubborn problem getting the new ferret code to compile  
under OS X 10.4.  One possibility I'm trying to run down is whether  
the g95 and gcc compiler combination I'm using might be causing  
trouble.  I'd like to try compiling ferret using the Portland Group  
compilers to test this hypothesis, but I don't know anyone using them  
on OS X.  Does anyone out there have them, and would you be willing  
to help me?  The easiest thing would be if you could temporarily give  
me a logon on such a machine.
